At Kilgore the water was very cold. The brave of the bravest are still in the water, a few smart ones took their feet out to get the blood circulating again.

A mining camp is high up on the mountain in Muldoon creek at Copper Basin. It has cement floor and the roof is caving in. Pretty old, was built a long time ago.

Matthew's truck

This is the truck that Matt drives when he is working. It is kind of long and it's a Duramax diesel whoopeee.

We encountered a cow moose and her calf right behind her. I did zoom in on them to get this picture. They were fairly close to us though.

Copper Basin

These antelope ran in front of us and stopped so we could get this picture. Kind of neat huh?


mom was trying to keep me from tipping over frontways as I went down the hill. She said it gave her something to hold on to so she wouldn't fall down. A view of the hill at the top of the mountain we were heading up to. This is in copper basin.

This is the steep trail I had to climb with the 4 wheeler. Pretty rocky huh?

This is the lake that Mom and Mark hiked 1/4 of a mile to see. There are fish stocked in this lake.

Hardly anyone know this lake is there.
